SNTech ("we", "our", or "us") built the Phrazlo app as a free Android application. This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal information when you use our app.

Information We Collect

We collect the minimum information necessary to provide our service:

• Device ID: We use your device's Android ID to track daily usage limits and prevent abuse. This identifier cannot be used to personally identify you.
• Usage data: We record the number of rewrite requests made per day per device to enforce free tier limits. We do not store the content of your text.
• Text content: Text you submit for rewriting is sent to our AI provider (Groq) for processing. We do not store or log the content of your text on our servers.

Information We Do Not Collect

• We do not collect your name, email address, or any personal identifiers
• We do not collect your location
• We do not collect payment information
• We do not use advertising networks or tracking SDKs
• We do not sell your data to third parties

How We Use Your Information

• To enforce daily free tier usage limits
• To prevent abuse of our API
• To improve the reliability of our service

Third Party Services

Phrazlo uses the following third party services to operate:

• Groq: AI processing provider. Text you submit is sent to Groq for processing. See Groq's privacy policy at groq.com/privacy.
• MongoDB Atlas: Database provider used to store anonymised usage counts. See MongoDB's privacy policy at mongodb.com/legal/privacy-policy.

Data Storage and Security

Usage data is stored securely in MongoDB Atlas. We implement industry standard security measures to protect against unauthorised access. Your text content is never stored on our servers — it is processed in real time and discarded immediately.

Data Retention

We retain anonymised usage counts for up to 90 days for the purpose of enforcing daily limits. After 90 days, old usage records are automatically deleted.

Children's Privacy

Phrazlo is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify users of any significant changes by updating the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

Your Rights

Since we do not collect personally identifiable information, there is no personal data to access, correct, or delete. If you have questions about the anonymised data associated with your device ID, please contact us.
